Method 1) Preheat the oven to 240oc/475oF/gas 9 2) Pour the oil into a roasting tin and place on the top shelf of the oven. Heat for about 10 minutes allowing the oil to become sizzling hot. 3) Simply whisk all the remaining ingredients together using an electric whisk. 4) Remove the roasting tin from the oven and pour the batter into the hot oil. Place the tin back onto the top shelf of the oven and cook for about 20 minutes or until the Yorkshire pudding has risen and turned golden brown, remember to keep the door shut the whole time. Serve immediately. Suggestions Pop the Yorkshire puddings in the oven while the meat is resting so that they are ready at the same time. If you’re roasting potatoes you’ll need to decide whether to remove them before the Yorkshire puddings go in or to leave them for the whole 20 minutes. Back |
