Every year Hospitals, Surgeries, Sports/Football clubs, Schools, Libraries, Councils, Businesses, Charities and other interested parties hold their own events to support Salt Awareness Week. In 2014 over 400 information packs were distributed to people around the UK, including Health Care Professionals, Universities, Schools, Trading Standards, Sports Centres and Caterers, encouraging them to organise a supporting event.
