This year, we've been encouraging hospitals, GP surgeries, libraries, schools, workplaces and health clubs to organise their own supporting events during Salt Awareness Week, helping us spread the message to as many people as possible that eating too much salt is harmful to our health. As a result over 350 resource packs have been distributed across the UK, containing over 35,700 leaflets and posters. Below are some examples of supporting events that took place around the country:
