Supporting Events
This year we have created new resources to match this years Salt Awareness Week focus - children. In the run up to the week, we've been encouraging hospitals, schools, libraries, GP surgeries and health clubs to organise their own supporting event, and raise as much awareness as possible for such an important issue. As a result, over 400 information packs were distributed to people around the UK,distributing over 58,000 leaflets and posters. Below are some examples of supporting events that took place around the country and how health professionals utilised the resources during the week.
If you hosted an event in support of the week please complete our short evaluation form to let us know how you got on - National Salt Awareness Week evaluation
