The UK Salt Challenge: What is it going to take to get action?

With the future of the obesity strategy currently in jeopardy, we reflect on the often-forgotten issue of salt reduction, and what lack of Government action could mean for public health in the UK. 

During this special edition roundtable during Salt Awareness Week, leading experts will cover the successes and failures of salt policy in the UK, and how it compares to other countries, and what steps can we take to get action?

Food & Drink Federation Scotland - Sodium Reduction Solutions Webinar

FDF Scotland are organising a webinar free to members and non-members of the Food and Drink Federation, exploring the wide variety of innovative sodium reduction solutions available to industry, and how they can be applied across different food.

Food Integrity Panel Discussion: What should be the target of reformulation?’

Thursday 24th March 2022 9-10am

New Food will be hosting a five-day event, exploring key challenges facing the global food and drink sector. The agenda includes interactive and in-depth webinars, panel sessions, innovative case studies and keynote sessions, and will feature senior decision-makers responsible for pioneering innovation.  

Among them is our Director Katharine Jenner RNutr, who will be involved in a panel discussion on Thursday 24th March 9-10am. The panel will be discussing ‘What should be the target of reformulation?’ - is there a solution to fixing our obviously broken food system, and if so, what is it?
